This handbook will guide you through the structure, processes, and opportunities within the Design Guild, ensuring you can contribute effectively and make a meaningful impact.
Guild Structure
Guild Leads
The Design Guild is led by Guild Leads who oversee activities, review submissions, and provide guidance. The Guild Leads ensure that all content meets the collective’s standards and aligns with the broader goals of the Ethereum community.

The Design Guild focuses on a variety of content types, including (but not limited to):
Infographics: Visual representations of information and data.
Illustrations and Process Diagrams: Custom graphics to accompany articles and reports.
Social Media Graphics: Visual content for platforms like Twitter, Instagram, and others.
Event Coverage: Visual summaries and highlights of Ethereum-related events.
EIP Diagrams: Detailed visual explanations of Ethereum Improvement Proposals.
UI/UX Design: Design for user interfaces and user experiences in Ethereum-related projects.
Community Spotlights: Visuals highlighting community members and projects.
Presentation Design: Slide decks for talks, pitches, and educational purposes.

Contributing to the Guild
Proposing Ideas
If you have an idea for visual content that doesn’t fall into the existing categories, you can propose it in the #ideas channel on Discord. Tag the Guild Lead and present your idea for discussion. The community will review and provide feedback on your proposal.
Forming Squads
To work on a specific topic or project:
Post a message in the Design Guild channel on Discord, signaling your interest.
Tag the Guild Lead to initiate a discussion.
Form a squad with other interested contributors. Squads can consist of one or more members and can be temporary or long-term.
Once the idea is approved, the squad can start working on the project.
Charmverse Onboarding
Contributor task management happens on Charmverse. All contributors must onboard to Charmverse to view and pick up available tasks. Follow these steps:
Access the 2077 Collective Workspace: Join the 2077 Collective workspace on Charmverse.
View Tasks: Browse through the available tasks and select ones that match your skills and interests.
Claim Tasks: Claim tasks to start working on them, and collaborate with other contributors as needed.
Submission and Review Process
Complete your content and submit it for review on Charmverse.
The Guild Lead will review your submission, provide feedback, and ensure it meets the collective’s standards.
Approved content will be published and shared within the Ethereum community.
Process Of Requesting A Design
Reach out to the Design Guild Lead and provide the following:
Detailed Process Description: Just a breakdown of the clear and concise descriptions of end goal.
Visual References: An existing graphics or visuals that can serve as a reference for the desired style.
Specific Text Content: Any specific text that needs to be included in the graphic, such as titles, labels and descriptions.
Data and Metrics:
Any data or metrics that need to be visually represented within the graphic.
Clear instructions on how this data should be displayed (charts, graphs, icons, etc.).
Format and Dimensions:
Preferred dimensions and aspect ratio for the graphic.
Required file formats (e.g., PDF, PNG, JPEG) and resolution for different use cases (web, print, presentations).
Intended Use:
The primary purpose of the graphic (e.g., marketing, presentations).
Contexts in which the graphic will be used (e.g., Social media post, print, in presentations).
